EBC Brakes began supplying the European aftermarket in the early 1980s and entered the United States market in the mid-1980s. The company is independently and privately owned, employs more than 400 people worldwide and states that it offers the world's largest range of brake pads and discs, with over 60,000 part numbers. One hundred percent of EBC brake pads are manufactured in the company's own factories in the United Kingdom and the United States. The UK head office is in Northampton, England, and US operations are run by EBC Brakes USA Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada.
