Viscous Harmonic Dampers — SFI 18.1 Certified • Made in USA

Fluidampr

Fluidampr is the performance-damper line of Vibratech TVD, built by Horschel Motorsports in Springville, New York. It grew out of the mid-1980s, when race engine builders asked Vibratech to adapt its proven industrial viscous-damping technology for motorsport. A Fluidampr is a viscous harmonic balancer: a laser-welded, sealed housing holds a free-floating inertia ring suspended in a thin film of high-viscosity silicone. Unlike a stock tuned-rubber elastomer damper — which is tuned to a narrow band — it absorbs crankshaft torsional vibration across the entire RPM range and stays effective as an engine is modified with different pistons, rods or a stroker crank. Every Fluidampr is SFI 18.1 certified, maintenance-free and made in the USA.
