Pioneering Aftermarket Performance Since 1973.

HKS

Founded in 1973 at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Japan by former Yamaha engineer Hiroyuki Hasegawa and Goichi Kitagawa — with backing from Sigma Automotive, the three names giving the company its H·K·S initials. In 1974 HKS built the world's first commercially available aftermarket turbocharger kit for the Nissan Skyline, then went on to pioneer the turbo timer, boost controller and F-CON engine management. Today HKS is a publicly listed manufacturer (TYO:7219) with operations across Japan, the USA, Europe and Thailand, engineering forced-induction, exhaust, suspension and engine hardware for enthusiasts worldwide.
