Performance Exhaust & Mufflers — Santa Rosa, California Since 1983

Flowmaster

Flowmaster was founded in 1983 in Santa Rosa, California to solve a problem that was closing race tracks — noise. Rather than quiet a race car by choking it, the company pushed exhaust science past the accepted thinking of the day and built the patented chambered muffler: sound is cancelled by tuned internal chambers and wave interference instead of packing that burns out and goes loud. Four decades on, Flowmaster builds 12 chambered muffler designs, three exclusive “laminar-flow” designs and the FlowFX straight-through line, along with complete cat-back and axle-back systems sorted into four sound categories — so you pick the tone, not just the part. The range now extends to Delta Force performance air intakes, Scavenger Series headers and catalytic converters, and the company is part of the Holley Performance Brands portfolio.
