Perfect for applications with limited space. If you want to lower the sound pressure level (SPL) of your CrateMuffler®s, you can install this resonator. This compact bottle / bullet style resonator can also be used as a universal resonator in any system of this diameter. The resonator is designed to attenuate overall sound. This resonator will reduce the sound level 2-3 dB(A). This straight-through design will not degrade the performance of your vehicle. Resonator dimensions 3" Center Inlet/ 3" Center Outlet, 4" Round, 10" Long Body 15" Overall Length. Un-Notched necks are designed for weld in installation. If clamping, use wide (2 bolt style) band clamps.
Reversible design for installation flexibility. High-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. 100% welded construction for strength. Free Flow design for improved performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for sound control. Natural mill finish can be brushed or polished prior to installation. Manufacturer's Warranty — Borla
Borla warrants its products to the original purchaser, for the vehicle on which they were first installed, against defects in materials and workmanship with its Million-Mile Warranty (one million miles, or 1.6 million kilometers in Canada). Black coatings, tip finishes, carbon fiber and moving parts, including valves and actuators, are covered for one year, and EV products are covered for 2 years from purchase. The warranty applies to Borla street-legal products only: XR-1 Raceline and marine products, racing products and street products used for racing are not covered, and sound level is not a warranty issue. Also excluded are appearance blemishes from weather, road hazards, lack of maintenance or extreme heat or cold; damage from accident, abuse, misuse or modification; welding to a universal muffler’s shell or end caps (attach only at the inlet and outlet nipples); and removal or reinstallation costs. Coverage is limited to repair or replacement at Borla’s option after Borla inspects the returned part. Products sold outside the USA and Canada carry a 3-year limited warranty.
