Boom Mat Tape has the same noise blocking and sound damping qualities as our Boom Mat damping material. It's for those hard to reach areas as well as for covering wire and cable harnesses running on or along the sides of floorboards.

Boom Mat Tape is a multi-purpose sound deadening material for use anywhere to help reduce road noise, sound system vibrations, rattles, dash board plastic-to-plastic chafing sounds, door panels, floor pans, deck lids and trunk area to name a few.

There are many in-home uses for Boom Mat Tape as well. Apply to the bottom of metal sinks to eliminate ringing, sump pump pipes from vibrating, heating & cooling ducts, seams in drain gutters, metal doors and under metal work benches and home stereo as examples.

DEI (Design Engineering, Inc.) warrants its products to the original retail purchaser, with proof of purchase, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product was originally installed. If a product is found by DEI to be defective, DEI will, at its option, repair or replace it or refund the original purchase price. Not covered: damage or defects in the finish of a product; products that have been misused, damaged by accident or negligence, altered or modified, installed contrary to DEI’s installation instructions, or repaired by an unauthorized service facility; and products installed on vehicles used for racing or competition. The warranty does not cover labor, removal, installation or reinstallation, freight or transportation charges, or incidental and consequential damages. Claims start with the place of purchase: return the product to where it was bought for a warranty determination within thirty (30) days of purchase. If the claim is not resolved there, DEI issues a Return Goods Authorization and the product is returned to DEI prepaid with the dated proof of purchase and a written description of the problem.
