Edelbrock part #7816 Performer-Link timing chain set is for use with 1996-Later Big-Block Chevrolet Gen VI 454 & 502 V8 engines. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. Cam sprockets are made from 35,000 psi tensile strength cast iron. Crank sprockets are made from SAE 1144 billet steel and induction heat treated. The crank sprocket has three keyway setting points to ensure accurate timing selection.

Edelbrock warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, except where a product line carries different terms: Performer Series carburetors and Race Division parts are covered for 90 days, Thunder Series AVS carburetors for one year, remanufactured carburetors for 30 days, and E-Force superchargers for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use of E85 fuel voids carburetor coverage. Racing or competition use, marine use unless the part is listed for marine applications, modification, improper installation or maintenance and excessive wear are excluded, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Claims are made through the place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock with proof of purchase; Pro-Flo EFI systems, crate engines, E-Force superchargers and cylinder heads are returned directly to Edelbrock.
