Edelbrock #8828 Water Pump small block Chevrolet cartridge style race designed for circle track and endurance racing applications, they feature a revised impeller entry, a hard black anodized finish and .100" thicker rear cover for greater durability. Auxiliary water outlets ease fabrication of custom plumbing systems and auxiliary fittings are available as an or npt. These water pump provide maximum cooling with equal distribution to both sides of the block within 1%. By eliminating hot spots, the engine produces optimum power from every cylinder without detonation and pre-ignition. Other features include billet steel hub and heavy-duty ball/roller bearings.

Edelbrock warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, except where a product line carries different terms: Performer Series carburetors and Race Division parts are covered for 90 days, Thunder Series AVS carburetors for one year, remanufactured carburetors for 30 days, and E-Force superchargers for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use of E85 fuel voids carburetor coverage. Racing or competition use, marine use unless the part is listed for marine applications, modification, improper installation or maintenance and excessive wear are excluded, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Claims are made through the place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock with proof of purchase; Pro-Flo EFI systems, crate engines, E-Force superchargers and cylinder heads are returned directly to Edelbrock.
