With conventional steering stabilizers, turning in one direction creates an increase in pressure inside the stabilizer as the shaft occupies more volume in the body and displaces the oil. The repercussion is a push or pull steering force felt by the driver as the stabilizer attempts to return to its neutral state. To overcome this unidirectional force, dual opposing stabilizers are often used, but this requires additional mounting hardware and space.
The Factory Race Series 2.0 Stabilizer ATS utilizes an Adjustable Through Shaft (ATS) architecture that eliminates shaft fluid displacement throughout the stabilizer’s entire travel in both directions. The external piggyback reservoir provides additional fluid capacity and utilizes an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) to separate the fluid from the nitrogen gas charge to eliminate cavitation. For increased control that can be tailored to any driving style and setup, an external adjuster provides 24 clicks of adjustment to fine tune the feel.

Manufacturer's Warranty — FOX
FOX Factory sets warranty by product line. 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series suspension products purchased after March 30, 2025 carry a limited lifetime warranty to the original retail owner against defects in materials and workmanship — FOX excludes sports car shocks and 2.0 Performance Series remote reservoir shocks from that lifetime term. All other FOX suspension products carry a limited one (1) year warranty running from the date of original retail purchase from an authorized FOX dealer, or from a FOX-authorized OEM where the suspension was fitted as original equipment; that covers the Performance Elite, Factory Race and Factory Series lines. Upper control arms are covered for life, except that serviceable components — spherical bearings, rod ends and other fabricated hardware — and appearance or finish issues are limited to twelve (12) months. Coverage applies to factory defects on passenger cars and light-duty trucks under normal use, on the vehicle application the part was designed for. Finish and coatings are not covered, and neither is normal wear and tear or any failure from abuse, improper assembly, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance, unauthorized repair or service, accident, misuse or collision. FOX also notes that squeaks and creaks can be normal on some models and configurations and are not by themselves a defect, though clunks or thuds should be inspected by a qualified mechanic. The warranty applies only to product purchased new from an authorized FOX source, is made only to the original retail owner and is not transferable. Labor is excluded — removal, installation and reinstallation costs and any ancillary fees are the customer's responsibility. If FOX determines a product is covered, FOX repairs or replaces it with a comparable model at its sole option, and that is the exclusive remedy. Claims go to FOX directly: FOX Factory issues a Service Request (SR) number through its service hub and the product is shipped, with the SR number marked on the outside of the package, to the FOX service center FOX designates (US service is handled by the FOX Midwest Service Center in Baxter, Minnesota).
Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and may change. Full details and claims are handled directly by FOX. Contact us if you need help with a warranty claim.
