Hellwig's medium-duty EZ-990 Helper Springs pack a lot of capability in every box. Packaged complete with the same heavy duty powder coated and plated components, hardware and installation instructions as our heavy duty helper spring products, these kits are designed for the vehicles that need lighter assistance in carrying a load. Simple bolt on design using common hand tools provide the installer ease of installation and the vehicle owner hassle free use. Ideally suited for light towing and loads, these units are fully adjustable using the heavy duty U-bolts included in the kit using simple hand tools. If your tow and haul needs change, simply adjust the heavy duty U-bolts to suit the new load requirements. Once installed and adjusted you are free to haul or tow with greater control and stability. Manufactured with heat treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel in our California based facility, these units are rated up to 2,000 lb. level load carrying capacity. They are a great cost effective spring solution and can be adjusted independently for uneven side to side loads.

Manufacturer's Warranty — Hellwig
Hellwig Products sets warranty by product type, and every term runs to the original retail consumer on the vehicle the part was first installed upon. Hellwig steel spring and sway bar products and their components are warranted for the normal life of the vehicle they are originally installed upon — that is the sway bars, end links and steel helper and add-a-leaf springs we carry, and Hellwig lists every part number in this range as Limited Lifetime on its own product pages, install and hardware kits included. Hellwig's separate two (2) year term covers bushings, mounting components and air suspension systems bought as such, and needs a dated receipt with the request. The warranty terminates immediately and automatically, and is not transferable, if you transfer ownership of the product, use it for a purpose it was not intended for, or install it on a second vehicle. If a part reasonably appears to Hellwig on inspection to have been defective in material or workmanship, Hellwig repairs or replaces it free of charge; you are responsible for transportation charges and any charges connected with the replacement or repair. Not covered: parts and labor for installation, removal, reinstallation, vehicle modification or any vehicle repair, service or replacement; any repair or replacement carried out by anyone other than Hellwig at its Visalia, California plant; unreasonable use, failure to install or maintain the product properly, modification, or a failure attributable to a defect in the vehicle; towing, fire, theft, environmental conditions and negligent, accidental or intentional damage; any product on a vehicle used at any time for delivery or common carrier service; loaned vehicles or parts while the product is being serviced; and incidental or consequential damages. Because installation and removal are not covered, Hellwig recommends inspecting the installation of each product — especially sway bars and accessory springs — to confirm it presents no danger to brake lines, fuel lines or the chassis. Claims go to Hellwig directly: contact Hellwig first by telephone, email, website contact form or letter, and an authorized Hellwig employee must give written or verbal approval before anything is returned — product sent without factory approval will not be accepted. The part then goes freight prepaid to the Visalia factory and the replacement ships within thirty (30) days of Hellwig receiving it. Hellwig also requires warranty registration to be on file for all warranty claims.
Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and may change. Full details and claims are handled directly by Hellwig. Contact us if you need help with a warranty claim.
