Any hardcore off-road enthusiast knows the numerous benefits that lower tire pressures offer such as improved ride quality and a larger contact patch for increased traction. However, low pressures also increase the risk of de-beading the tire during extreme side loads or aggressive driving. While traditional bead lock wheels address this issue by clamping the tire’s bead, they also need frequent maintenance, require specialty tools/parts, increase rotational mass, and are NOT legal for on-road use. The ICON Alloys Hammer PRO with patented InnerLock technology offers the best of both worlds by using a robust bead retention system to keep the tire bead secured to the wheel while also being fully DOT compliant. This provides confidence in knowing that your wheels are prepared to tackle whatever situation you encounter - on or off the beaten path. InnerLock is ready for any type of terrain and every single adventure. During an accelerated R&D process ICON engineers subjected the InnerLock technology to thousands of miles of real-world abuse throughout harsh and unforgiving environments. After on-vehicle testing was concluded, wheels were sent to an independent contractor for precise lab testing, specifically the FMVSS No.139 Tire Bead Unseat Resistance Test (modified to 10 psi). Results from multiple tests validated the effectiveness of ICON’s InnerLock technology by exceeding the mechanical limits of the machine (over 7600lbs load) without ever de-beading the tire. The included high-grade aluminum, removable, and replaceable HALO Wheel Armor keeps the wheel looking new by protecting the Hammer PRO from trail rash. This HALO Wheel Armor is replaceable in 90° segments so individual sections can be changed if only a portion of the ring becomes damaged. Beyond superior form and function the HALO Wheel Armor can be easily customized to match your style for a truly unique wheel experience. Staying true to the ICON Alloys approach, the Hammer PRO has been engineered to maximize caliper clearance and optimize wheel position for un-hindered suspension travel and steering function. Backspace and wheel offset dimensions have been strategically developed to reduce scrub radius, improving all-around handling and ride quality. The Hammer PRO has also been strength tested to yield an incredible 3,650lb load rating - making it one of the strongest wheel options on the market. ICON Alloys wheels carry their own warranty, separate from ICON's suspension terms. ICON Alloys warrants to the original retail purchaser that the wheel will be free from structural failure, under normal and intended use, for as long as that original purchaser owns it. Finishes are covered for a fixed term: chrome finish defects for one year and painted finish defects for two years from the original date of purchase. ICON Alloys repairs or replaces a qualifying wheel at its sole discretion and without charge; removal and installation expense is not included. Claims must be processed through the original dealer or distributor the wheels were purchased from — so start with us and we will take it from there. The warranty is void if the product was damaged in transit or by misuse, accident or negligence; repaired, modified or altered by anyone other than ICON Alloys; used together with hardware or adapters other than those supplied by ICON Alloys; subjected to corrosion of the finish due to neglect, caustic cleaning chemicals, harsh car washes, adverse weather conditions or improper product care; or if the original invoice or sales receipt is not available for verification. Transfer of title by the original purchaser voids the warranty. ICON Alloys disclaims all other express warranties and, to the extent the law of the state of sale and federal law allow, all implied warranties. Warning: to avoid possible risk of injury or death, wheel and tire must meet or exceed the proper vehicle load rating.
