LIQUI MOLY warrants to the consumer that at the time of sale all lubricant products are free of defective materials or design and suitable for use according to LIQUI MOLY’s recommended guidelines; the company is certified to DIN ISO 9001. The quality period is 12 months from the date of purchase. Where a LIQUI MOLY product is used as intended and engine damage is proven to be the result of a product failure, the damaged mechanical parts are covered at fair market cost. To claim, a claim must be submitted to LIQUI MOLY in Germany within 30 days of discovering the damage, a 10 ounce sample of the used lubricant must be supplied for testing, and any damaged component must be made available for inspection. The warranty does not cover towing, loss of vehicle, rental car expenses or any other consequential or incidental damage, and it is excluded for product not packaged or sold by LIQUI MOLY or an authorized dealer, lubricant mixed with any additive LIQUI MOLY has not authorized, product contaminated after leaving LIQUI MOLY premises, use in mechanically deficient or abused equipment, failure to follow OEM or LIQUI MOLY drain and maintenance recommendations, normal wear, use for racing, unintended aviation use, and any claim for which a reasonable sample or the requested parts are not made available. Installing aftermarket parts may affect an OE warranty.
