MSD warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under its intended normal use for one year from the date of the original purchase, when it is properly installed and purchased from an authorized MSD dealer. The warranty is void for products purchased through auction websites. A part found defective is repaired or replaced at MSD's option, and a covered item is returned free of charge using Ground shipping. Intended normal use means the item is used as originally intended and for the original application as sold by MSD: any modification to the item, or use on an application other than what MSD markets the product for, voids the warranty. MSD states that it is the sole responsibility of the customer to determine that the item will work for the application intended, and that MSD accepts no liability for custom applications. All returns must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number issued before being returned — contact MSD Customer Service at (915) 857-5200 for the number and shipping information, and proof of purchase must be supplied for verification. When returning a unit for repair, leave all wires at the length at which they were installed and include a detailed account of the problem and of the components and accessories installed on the vehicle; the repaired unit is returned by Ground shipping, which is covered by the warranty. After the warranty period has expired, repair service is based on a minimum and maximum fee. Technical support is on (915) 855-7123, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday mountain time. This shall constitute the sole remedy of the purchaser and the sole liability of MSD; to the extent permitted by law it is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness, and in no event shall MSD or its suppliers be liable for special or consequential damages.
